COUNTRY SET Plaid Blazer Circa 1940

Gingham had its 15 minutes of wear some time ago, but plaid has its cameo callings more often than any fashionista cares to keep up with. But, when it’s a classic, demure, perfectly cut, vintage and the IT jacket of the season, we don’t mind the ideas all the magazines offer you for pairing. Scour all the main ones, and you’ll see short, cropped wool jackets all over the runway being worn with Edwardianesque blouses. This is a piece to own a lifetime. Find some vintage Halston specs and you’re sure to be seen. A feminine fedora might look fly too. Tan colored with charcoal and rust plaid pattern. In excellent condition.
